On a lighter note, how have you been enjoying your Internet business?

It’s been very, very rewarding

That’s interesting to hear. But can you tell us how the beginning was?
Answer
In a sentence, very very rough. I failed more times than I care to remember.
Question
Could you please tell us more about that rough background because most Internet fortune seekers want to hit it immediately they get started.
Answer
I started online in 2003 after I stumbled on a copy of Success Digest Extra magazine. I tried all sorts of stuff-article writing, affiliate marketing via adwords, newsletter publishing , all sorts! For four long years, I failed at everything I tried, then I realized the problem .

And what was the problem?
Answer
In fact two problems, first one was, I was running after the latest promise of success, if you did this and this. Just the same kind of promises you see around these days. Second I was selling nothing.

So you learnt a lesson? Can you tell us what you learnt?
Answer
The lesson was, focus on one model and find or create something you can sell
Question
That’s a life-transforming statement, Focus, Create and Sell. I could perceive that was the defining moment for you? Tell us your focus, what you created and started selling?
Answer
Exactly, when I realized that, I simply threw away everything I was doing and decided to focus on creating information products and you know what I discovered, Benard?

Answer
All the people who were making money were... selling something! Now isn’t that a revelation? Think about it.
Yeah , that was the break. I didn’t raise money. Funny thing was , the first thing I did was to go learn how to design a website because I saw that all the info marketers were selling a product from a website. I got the money to pay for the training by using part of my pocket money. I was till a student at that time.

So between then and now, how much do you make monthly. This question is necessary because we have promised our readers that our experts are confirmed, young millionaires?
Answer
Then I created my first information product in October 2007 and by the end of November, I had made over $2000. Then the worst, or at least then I thought so, happened.. Papal froze my account.
Question
That was a fix! But you found a way out. From losing all , how did you end up making six figures.
Answer
I lost everything and then I hated the company, hell, I hated Internet marketing.! The following year, 2008, I decided to attend Dr. Sunny Obazu-Ojeagbase’s information marketing business workshop in April 2008 when I borrowed the N5000 fee from my younger sister.

That’s the power of seeking knowledge, despite initial failure?
Answer
Yeah, I knew he could show me what I did wrong. After the seminar, my first information product still failed! I mean after the information marketing business workshop.

Then you must be tenacious?
Answer
Man, you need to be tenacious to survive in this industry. It’s business, pure and simple! If you go into business and are not tenacious, then you’ll be out in dry land before you can even blink.
Question
Hmm. You have successfully navigated the rough times and now a CEO. What fulfillment do you have and what final advice do you have for Nigerian youths seeking Internet Income Opportunities?
Answer
My advice is, learn from the very best. They can be hard to find. They may be expensive but they’re worth every penny. Learn from them, and get them to teach you one –on-one.
Then learn on your own, pay good money to buy materials form the top gurus and most important, put to action what you learn.
